Phyllis Widman currently focuses on the areas of Vaccine Injury, COVID Vaccine Mandate Employment Matters, Family Law, Civil Litigation, and Adult Guardianship actions as Court-Appointed counsel. Ms. Widman is appointed by the Court as a Guardian Ad Litem to children in Family Court matters. She is a Rule 1:40 qualified Civil Mediator.

Ms. Widman fights to preserve constitutional rights in vaccine injury cases in civil court, and represents those injured by vaccines. She also gives a voice to children in family court actions, and adults who are alleged to be incapacitated. In all of her cases, Ms. Widman utilizes her skills and techniques to provide the most persuasive and convincing arguments in negotiations and in trial.
She enjoys all aspects of handling a case from start to finish and prides herself in her personable approach to clients. She encourages a team effort approach between her client, the client's family, and her law firm "family."
Ms. Widman's criminal defense background is substantial, with nearly 22 years of criminal practice in Hudson, Monmouth, Atlantic and Cape May counties, as well as her employment as a former professor at Rutgers University-Newark in the School of Criminal Justice where she taught criminal procedure and constitutional law for four years. She also earned a Master's Degree in Criminal Justice.
Above and beyond her law degree and criminal justice degree, Ms. Widman earned a Master's Degree in Communications from the Newhouse School of Public Communications, which is one of the top three communications schools in the country.
